RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED’s impact areas
RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED’s six impact areas drive progress toward our overall goal to end poverty and eradicate illiteracy among refugees. We focus on these specific impact areas for two reasons. Firstly, because they are critical barriers to poverty reduction, and secondly, because they are areas where Ray Hope Refugee Organization Limited has developed competence and expertise at the level of our programs.
1) Refugee Women’s Economic Justice and Empowerment
2) Refugee Right to Food, Water and Nutrition
3) Refugee Children’s Rights and Access to Quality Education
4) Refugee Right to Affordable Healthcare
5) Gender Equality Among Refugees
6) Refugee Skill Acquisition and Talent Development

Impact data
Our data helps us to tell the story of our efforts and projects to improve lives and promote social and economic inclusion of refugees in Uganda.
RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED’s data tells us a story. It is the story of how Ray Hope Refugee Organization Limited, partner organizations, and project participants are working every day to fight poverty among refugees, putting women and girls at the center of our programs.
This data-driven story allows us to listen. The numbers, stories, and especially the voices of the refugee communities we strive to support collectively show us what we are doing right and where we need to improve.
Two paths towards change
We understand that Ray Hope Refugee Organization Limited can contribute to changein two main interdependent ways. One is the short-term benefit of being involved in supporting the UNHCR mandate. The other is the long-term transformations that can happen in refugees’ lives in light of our Organization’s mission of providing critical humanitarian assistance to refugees.
This is what we call reach and lastingimpact:
Reach: Our reach data reflects the number of people who participated in our programs in the last year, and are directly or indirectly involved in program activities.
•Direct reachincludes those refugees who receive support, services, goods, and resources from Ray Hope Refugee Organization Limited or our donors.
•Indirect reach may include the families, friends, or communities of refugees who further benefit from such actions.
