RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED, a Non-Profit Organization started work in 2021.

Uganda ranks 159 out of 189 on the Human Development Index (HDI). RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED work supports refugees and asylum- seekers in Uganda, as well as helping the most vulnerable refugees to acquire skills for economic independence and providing basic educational materials to children refugees.

Who we are

We seek to create a world in which refugee women and girls can acquire skills through well-thought-out and pragmatically designed training for the purpose of economic freedom and independence to combat poverty and unemployment. We work side by side with host communities, refugee camps, government agencies, and UNHCR to promote innovative solutions to the ever-present problems of refugees in Uganda.

What RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED does in Uganda

RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED has worked in Uganda since the first quarter of 2021. In recent years, Uganda has taken in more than 1 million refugees and asylum-seekers from neighboring countries experiencing conflict and famine. On top of this, Uganda is grappling with economic challenges and a high rate of unemployment among its citizens. RAY HOPE REFUGEE ORGANIZATION LIMITED supports refugees by delivering basic humanitarian assistance emphasizing skill acquisition for women, educational inclusiveness for children, resilience in humanitarian development for men, and economic independence for all within the refugee community in Uganda.
